Emotionally frail, like a child....

Fuck.

My health is not great right now. I will write more when I can...right now I am a hot mess. The bad news is about my heart. I could live with a bad heart for awhile, or I could die any second...who knows. The heart is weird like that. That is a fact. My heart caused my stroke. That too is a fact. I might need heart surgery...that remains to be seen.

Please understand I am scared, but I will adjust.

with love,
Stacy

*the above photo is me photographing Daniela V., this pic was shot almost a year ago in much happier and less frightening times.

Be strong and Everything will be ok.

You have a ton of people on your side and take comfort that you have touched many lives and will continue to do so.

Just try and relax and think of those things, and the rest will sort itself out.

The you could always get hit by a bus too! The heart is a weird organ and it take some time to figure out the way it works. I can’t blame you for being scared not at all but you need to be proactive in your health. I urge you to keep a blood-pressure log and keep an eye on what your heart is doing. I know it’s unfair because you're so young but that’s working for you. You and your heart are young and strong, keep a little faith. You have a husband who loves you as well as your family. And you have touch a lot of lives who all wish you the best. So try and relax and sort things out first and try no to panic yourself. Fear is your greatest enemy now. Wish you all the very best.

It's OK to be scared. Time to lean on family, friends and doctors.

Sorry, no prayers just thoughts; the Big Man hates me ;-)

We're looking forward to more of your unbridled energy and compelling photographic eye!

Cheers,

Stacy,

With every new revelation, as scary as it may be, you are another step closer to ensuring your health and long life.

Once again, I pray for you. I don't pray for myself, I save the special requests for my friends who need them.

Pit_Viper from the TDF forums. Stacy, I know you will be OK. Let the doctors figure out what's wrong, but don't let only one doctor be the final judge on things. A second opinion is always best in this type of situation.

Just stay strong, get some rest, don't smoke, eat healthy, and you will be around until you're 100.

Stay strong.

Stacy -

Wow, that's awful. :-( But y'know what? Awful doesn't necessarily mean permanent. Once the doctors find out what needs to be done, you can take whatever steps necessary to get back to normal.
And like MichaelV said, you could get hit by a bus tomorrow, or any number of horrible things, or they might never happen at all. No reason to stop living life, y'know!

We're all thinking of you, Stacy! You'll always have the support of those who love you!

Stacy,

I am sure everything will be OK.
My advice is to laugh more - laughter is the best medicine in the world.

And on that note - in case you need it, my heart is ready for transplant on moments notice. Let see if anyone else can trump this in the department of good doing. :)

Love,
Mihailo

Stacy, my father had a quadruple bypass over 22 years ago, and he's still around living well. The doctor regularly interview him on his longevity, but he still drinks and smokes and is soon to turn 85. I beleive it's because he DOESN'T STRESS ABOUT ANYTHING. He's an old Ukraine survivor of the Stalinist holocaust, and will probably be here many years to come... Stay well and try not to worry. Steve. Melbourne,Australia

repeating what Eric Uys said: Be positive, DON'T GIVE UP FAITH. All will be well, Stacy, heart doctors are the best, the finest you can get. They saved my father's life 22plus years ago. All will be well. Be strong. Steve. Melbourne. Australia
